The Von Lanken's Compare the new Sony HXR-NX5U
with the Panasonic HMC150

At the time this footage was shot, the NX5U was suffering from back focus issues, and is not what a properly functioning NX5U looks like. The NX5U was not properly focused, so the NX5U images appear much softer than they should be. Overall image brightness and noise levels should not be affected though, and should accurately reflect normal NX5U performance in those regards. Mark has re-shot the comparison, using auto-focus, but has not had a chance to look at that footage yet. When Mark has a chance to review the new comparison footage and upload it, we will bring it to you right away!
